Primary Switchboard for Marine Mining Vessel
This project required a high level of modularity and flexibility that allowed for unique design features. The Main Distribution Board had to comply with Marine standards as well as fit into a narrow space. The solution was an impressive U-shaped design.
Marine Mining Vessel
The end-user is a Marine Mining Vessel that operates in high impact environments. The requirements are high concerning safety as well as operation. For this reason, the end-user needed an option that could provide high reliability during operation.
For this project, our Logstrup Global Partner was tasked with designing and assembling a 10.000A Main Distribution Board with a 150kA fault rating with Arc barriers. The design had to be compliant according to Lloyds and Marine certification.
The biggest obstacle was the limited space which meant the Main Distribution Board had to be built in a U-Shape design to fit into the allocated space on the Vessel.
Modularity and certified quality
The most important aspects of this project were the unique design and level of compliance and certification. With the Logstrup Modular System, panel builders are left with multiple design options for even the trickiest projects. In this case, the unique L-shape copper connections could be made to fit the U-shaped design of the panels. Thus, our global partner and panel builder was able to design a solution that would fit into the allocated space. In addition, the Logstrup Modular System comes with a high certified fault level and conforms with Lloyd's and DNV/GL Marine Certifications.

The Great Belt link
Logstrup will supply high-quality low voltage solutions for the Great Belt Link (Storebæltsforbindelsen) in 2020. In 1991, Logstrup was tasked to supply the first electrical switchgear for the tunnels, and they have worked flawlessly ever since.
National Bank of Serbia
The National Bank of Serbia supports all financial- and transactions in Serbia. Consequently, renewing their 30-year-old switchgear required efficient work during limited hours in order to secure up-time.
Mozyrsalt needed to replace 0.4 kV of old low voltage panels with new panels within one of the workshop transformer stations, without the need to close down operation longer than necessary. Strict delivery time for the shelf equipment was the essential requirement for the project execution.
Al Dar Properties
As part of reviving a historic landmark in Abu Dhabi –a central market known as the souq- our partner was tasked to supplying all low voltage requirements for Al Dar Properties' large real estate development. The task required modular and space-optimized solutions, as parts of the panels had to fit into limited space. Thanks to the flexibility of the Logstrup Modular System combined with the expertise of our partner, a customized solution was possible.
Theiss Thermal Power Plant
With a total effect reaching 800 megawatts, the thermal power plant in Theiss holds a significant role in bringing a consistent and reliable supply of power, gas and heat to the Northern part of Lower Austria. The power plant was built in 1974 and consists of two units. In one of the units, the control gear needed a complete renewal in 2008.
