Since 2020, Logstrup has designed, produced, delivered, and commissioned main switchboards for Digital Realty’s data centre “Paris Digital Park,” which comprises four connected data centres located in Paris, France.

Digital Realty is a leading provider of carrier- and cloud-neutral colocation data centre services worldwide. With over 300 data centres Digital Realty offers global meeting places where companies, technology, and data come together to turn data into intelligence.
The Project
In collaboration with Digital Realty, Logstrup designed, produced, delivered, and commissioned main switchboards for Digital Realty's data centre “Paris Digital Park” in Paris, France. Paris Digital Park offers 85MW of power and 37096 m2 across four facilities: PAR8, PAR9, PAR10, and PAR11. The data centre was built in four rounds, each part containing 12 maintenance bypass panels plus one super bypass panel. The switchboards are designed to distribute power steadily and efficiently, at redundancy N+1.
The Challenge
Managing projects for data centres comes with significant potential risks. Key challenges include coordinating with other subcontractors whose systems—like UPS and busbar systems—directly impact our own. Additionally, product updates, strict customer requirements for operational reliability and cybersecurity, maintenance plans, quality strategies, network configurations, and equipment testing must all be carefully managed. The COVID-19 pandemic added further complexity to the “PAR8, PAR9, PAR10, and PAR11” projects, particularly regarding equipment transportation, which required us to think out of the box to keep things on track.

Al Dar Properties
As part of reviving a historic landmark in Abu Dhabi –a central market known as the souq- our partner was tasked to supplying all low voltage requirements for Al Dar Properties' large real estate development. The task required modular and space-optimized solutions, as parts of the panels had to fit into limited space. Sleaford Renewable Energy Plant
Logstrup is supplying cabinets for the main supply and distribution for substations for 400V and 690V AC and Control Boards for Boiler, Common auxiliaries, Building services, Steam auxiliaries and Straw handling. In total 280 modules of cabinet.
Wiener Linien / The Vienna Subway
Since 2003, Logstrup has supplied essential switchboards for the Vienna subway, enhancing its public transportation network. Collaborating with SPIE CEA, Logstrup has delivered over 1,000 customized energy distribution sections to accommodate the unique challenges of compact control rooms while ensuring reliability and efficient operation.
Theiss Thermal Power Plant
With a total effect reaching 800 megawatts, the thermal power plant in Theiss holds a significant role in bringing a consistent and reliable supply of power, gas and heat to the Northern part of Lower Austria. The power plant was built in 1974 and consists of two units. In one of the units, the control gear needed a complete renewal in 2008.
