Today, we celebrate a remarkable milestone: Production Manager Per Kristensen’s 45th anniversary with Løgstrup. This achievement is a testament to his extraordinary commitment, stability and leadership, as well as his unwavering dedication to the company.

From Apprentice to Production Manager

Per Kristensen began his journey at Løgstrup in 1980 as a 20-year-old machinist, fresh out of his apprenticeship at the Helsingør Shipyard and having just completed his military service. In 1983, he was promoted to foreman; by 1994, he became Production Manager.

Over the decades, Per Kristensen has been involved in nearly every aspect of the assembly workshop, logistics department, and production. His journey reflects not only his professional growth but also his deep understanding of the industry.

Evolving Technology, Unchanged Dedication

“Løgstrup has seen steady growth throughout its history, and the 1980s were no exception. When Per joined, the facilities expanded, the workforce grew, and technologies rapidly evolved.

Throughout these changes, Per played a key role in implementing significant transformations—from new automated technologies and streamlined processes to fundamental organisational changes,” shares CEO Per Løgstrup.

“A lot has changed during Per’s 45 years at Løgstrup, but his passion for work and commitment to making a difference have remained constant.
His ability to lead with authority and empathy has left a lasting impact on his colleagues and Løgstrup as a whole,” the CEO adds.

A Solid Leader, Constant Motivator, and Master of Overview

Throughout his career, Per Kristensen has been known as a motivating and inspiring leader who firmly believes in his team’s potential.

“Per has a unique ability to inspire us to do our best,” says Pinar Jensen, Senior Production Coordinator, who has worked alongside Per for 18 years.
“Our collaboration has always been built on mutual respect and trust. As a manager, he maintains a clear overview of tasks while also managing to make us laugh, even on the busiest days,” Pinar Jensen adds.

Carsten Trolle, International Product Manager and a colleague of Per’s on and off since 1982, describes him as rock-solid and dependable.
